Hoodia Tea

Hoodia is a cactus like plant which looks similar to cactus but is not that exactly. It is a succulent which has many species. The wonderful properties were found out by the Sans Bushmen tribes of South Africa. They used this exclusive plant for suppressing hunger and thirst when they traveled long distances for hunting. There are about twenty species of hoodia. Among them only one species is known for the property of suppressing hunger. It is the hoodia gordonii which is now used for various slimming products. It is capable of reducing the body weight tremendously. After research it is found out that it is it reduced the calorie to about 2,000 per day.

With experiments done on hoodia gordonii by the pharmaceutical company Phytopharm it is considered safe as it does not contain any sort of drugs in it. Other than this it is also said to have no side effects after consuming them. The research over this product is still continuing to have the best outcome. With the primary phase finished it is stated to be safe and worthy.

There are a lot of products which are available for the purpose of reducing body weight. In them, hoodia is the most reliable and effective use. Hoodia tea is considered to be of great boom these days. The manufacturers of the hoodia tea represent it as hoodia tincture for better exposure and selling of the product. There are two types of hoodia tea which are available. They are Desert Tea and Bija Hoodia Tea. The desert tea is considered to be more costly than the bija hoodia tea. Before buying hoodia tea it is very important to check out the ingredients which are used in the making of the tea.

Desert hoodia tea consists of one full gram of the extract of hoodia gordonii per tea bag and they also contain a special African shrub of which the leaves are dried to make the herbal tea. It is known as rooibos. This is used for adding the particular flavor for the tea. But bija hoodia tea consists of lot of ingredients such as green tea, hoodia gordonii, magnolia bark, oat straw herb, cambogia, garcinia, grapefruit and bitter orange. With various comments and reviews from the customers it is said that the more the hoodia gordonii present in the product the more is the quality.

Hoodia tea should be having the CITES certificate which is the license provided for exporting hoodia from South Africa. Thus check the originality before buying.
